These are pictures taken 12/27/04 in Bonanza Canyon of the El Paso Mountains, close to Ridgecrest. The pictures were taken at the Sears Cabin by Dave Flaker, a long time visitor and miner / prospector of the area. The Ridgecrest and Inyokern areas received a substantial amount of rain and associated flooding as well. Dave was forced to stay an extra day due to the flooding. It's understandable when you consider this is the cabin's only access. He still got his truck stuck a couple of times when leaving, and waters had receded. Care and planning should obviously be taken while travelling in the area.
