Published by the US Navy's Naval Air Weapons Station - China Lake. These pictures are of seldom seen ancient Indian and early pioneer sites protected by the Navy. Ancient Indians lived and hunted on the once lake-filled land. The famed 20 Mule Team carrying borax travelled through the area, as well as early miners and explorers.
